Sandspit Residents and Ratepayers Association

Sandspit Residents and Ratepayers Association are an elected community organisation representing the residents & ratepayers of historic and beautiful Sandspit, situated at the mouth of the Matakana & Glen Eden rivers, and gateway to Kawau, the Sandspit estuary is home to a rich diversity of fauna and flora.

Our Organisation’s objectives are to protect and enhance the natural ecosystem and amenities of our vibrant Sandspit Community. As part of those objectives, we have very active Landcare volunteer groups committed to predator & weed control and to supporting Community involvement and education across a range of environmental initiatives.
