Pākiri Community Landcare work with Trees That Count, Waicare and Trees on survival programmes and facilitate community and school planting projects as well as carrying out trapping.

Pākiri Community Landcare's mission is to create a lush native bush between Pākiri Regional Park and River.

The group are also looking to create public walkway access from the Pakiri village and school along Pakiri river to the beach.
