Mahurangi East Resident and Ratepayers (MERRA) have a vision of a Pest Free Mahurangi. They have been carrying out pest animal control at Mahurangi East settlement and would like to work with others to reduce plant and animal pests.

Mahurangi East Resident and Ratepayers are also concerned with erosion and associated sedimentation. MERRA advocates for and promotes the interests of its members and by extension the entire Scotts Landing and its surrounding area.

Membership to Mahurangi East Resident and Ratepayers (MERRA)is $12 per annum per property and covers all persons living there. All property owners are encouraged to belong to MERRA so we may represent as many as possible when speaking on behalf of the community.
