Any dogs, whatever size or breed, despite being well trained to come when called, can kill a kiwi if given the chance. That’s because dogs simply can’t resist the strong smell of kiwi!
You can get your dog specially trained to avoid kiwi it it comes across one. Kiwi Aversion Training teaches a dog to ignore the signs and smells of a kiwi. Most dogs can learn this avoidance behaviour, and they learn it quickly. They will remember it for about 12 months, so it is important for dogs to annual refresher training.
